Visual identity for Paris Texas

The “insectstruments” was created as a part of the visual identity for the clothing store Paris Texas, which opened its doors back in 2007. The store’s collection was unique, like a symphony composed of a number of international brands exclusive to Paris Texas. That “symphony” became the inspiration for developing the visual concept.

Project details

The logotype is simple and taut, while the colour palette is flexible and changes with the collections. The creatures are a morphing of musical instruments and earthly insects, and they are at the same time both repulsive and alluring. With their unusual expression, they soon became a “classic”, and even though the fashion store is no more, the insectstruments lives on.
