Capturing the CRD universe
Brand identity for artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen, CRD
Our task was to create an identity for the Danish artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen, also known under the signature CRD. The identity was to take its starting point in the universe created by Cathrine Raben Davidsen’s paintings. Therefore, the identity had to appear simple, clear and easily recognizable, and it was not to be limiting. Instead, it should contain artistic freedom and flexibility for the artist herself and the development of the various publications made in connection with Cathrine Raben Davidsen’s exhibitions.
Fluorescent spray paint is a consistent expression throughout Cathrine Raben Davidsen’s universe. Along with the CRD signature, used as a logo, the entire fluorescent colour palette makes up the backbone of the graphic identity. CRD’s fluorescent spray paints have been our primary inspiration for creating the logo.
Rolls of logo tape, logo stencils and typography with an incorporated CRD stencil cut make up the tools of this identity. These tools allow for artistic freedom and expression on everything from business cards, stationery, packaging, production of printed matter and artistic publications to the signature on the back of CRD’s works.

We were asked to develop a new brand design system and visual identity for the European Handball Federation – Our mission was to rejuvenate handball.

Mankind has always been both fascinated and repelled by war. Thus, we were happy to be given the opportunity be a part of creating the visual universe for the new exhibition in the beautiful old artillery hall, and hereby be a part of conveying the insights and learnings about war.
NutAlone is a digital platform enabling the easy distribution and viewing of indie films. The platform was launched in 2019, and we helped in both the naming process and the creation of their bold new visual identity.
